Marrakech - enchanting beauty all around
Deň 4 ~ Fashion & Food a Soul Day
• Majorelle Gardens • Yves Saint Laurent Museum, cafés, restaurants, boutiques
We rise to the sound of the muezzin's voice calling the faithful to prayer. His chant carries through the morning air like the silent prayer of the city - peaceful, rhythmic, sacred. Marrakech is waking up, and with it our senses.
A visit to the iconic Jardin Majorelle in the Gueliz district - one of the most beautiful and famous botanical gardens in the world - awaits us. It is the second most visited attraction in Marrakech after Jemaa El Fna Square, yet a place where the crowds melt into silence, colours and scents.
This garden is not just a botanical oasis - it's a ritual of returning to the senses and beauty. The moment you step through its gates, you are immersed in a world where every shape, every colour and every scent acts as a gentle healing. Transcending just visual perception, cobalt blue also touches the emotional body - calming the nervous system, opening the space of perception.
The rustle of bamboo leaves, the red solid surface underfoot, the scent of jasmine and citrus - all this awakens parts of us that are often suppressed in ordinary life. It is a walk through harmony, where nature and man are not in opposition, but co-create a world that heals with its simplicity and stillness. Every detail is an invitation to be present.
The site also includes the Berber Museum, dedicated to the indigenous people of North Africa. The exhibition includes traditional Berber clothing, jewellery, ceramics, musical instruments and working tools, which together reveal layers of a fascinating culture and historical legacy still present in Moroccan daily life today.
YSL Museum - a temple of creativity and courage
After this sensory sanctuary, we enter a space that tells the story of the soul of the creator. The Yves Saint Laurent Museum is not just about fashion - it is a story about the courage to be yourself, to follow your own vision, even if it is unconventional.
The colours, the fabrics, the silhouettes - and above all the energy of creative genius - all act as inspiration for a soul that longs to create, to express itself, or simply to rediscover its beauty and uniqueness.
The YSL Museum is one of the most exciting and luxurious spaces dedicated to fashion and art. The combination of the fascinating world of haute couture and the strong Moroccan influence has created a cultural space that breathes. In the permanent exhibitions, we discover not only the life and work of the legendary designer, but also his profound relationship with Morocco, which inspired him over many years.
The GUELIZ district - a place where time slows down and the soul breathes
A combination of gardens, museums, small cafés and boutique shops creates the perfect place to slow down, relax and recharge your batteries in the middle of bustling Marrakech. This corner of the world offers not only beauty for the eye, but also silence for the inside. This is also where we dine, in a restaurant that offers a unique dining experience. Modern approaches meet rich Moroccan tradition - resulting in dishes that celebrate local flavours, yet surprise with their creative presentation and combinations. Each bite is a fusion of history and present, oriental and innovative.
Marrakech today teaches us to slow down, to look, to perceive. Not as tourists, but as people who have found for a moment a temple of beauty, silence and inspiration - in colour, in smell, even in the courage to be ourselves.
In the evening return to the hotel, rest, dinner.
